This comforting crumble is simple and nourishing without being overly sweet. Leaving the skin on the fruit also helps to add more fibre. Serve with a dollop of plain Greek yoghurt for a delicious healthy dessert or mid-afternoon snack.
Tips & Variations
- Make it dairy-free: Use coconut oil or a plant-based butter instead of regular butter.
- For extra crunch: Sprinkle over some pumpkin or sunflower seeds before baking.
- Use seasonal fruit: Mix things up by swapping the pear and apple mix for peach and blackberry or raspberry and nectarine over the summer months.
