Ingredients
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup semi-skimmed milk (or other no-added-sugar milk alternative)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt (plus extra to serve)
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts (chopped, toasted and skins removed)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- optional toppings (raspberries, extra hazelnuts or shaved dark chocolate 70%+)
Method
- In a bowl or container, whisk together chia seeds, milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, and yoghurt until well combined.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes, then whisk again to prevent clumping.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until thickened.
- Stir in some extra milk or yoghurt if needed to loosen before serving and top with an additional dollop of yoghurt, a few raspberries and any optional toppings.
